Bangabandhu’s Birth Anniversary and Nat’l Children’s Day celebrated at TCA March 17, 2018

The 98th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day was celebrated in The Carter Academy (TCA) on Saturday, 17th March, 2018 in a befitting manner as elsewhere across the country. Marking the day, TCA brought out a colourful rally, led by TCA Principal Professor Md. Ismail Topader from the assembly ground that ended at the dormitory premises after parading some of the thoroughfares of the village. Vice Principal, faculty members, administrative and management staff, students, including teachers and students of MAF Primary School with due respect and festivity, joined the rally.

Afterwards, a discussion program was held at the academy auditorium.

The program started with a recitation from the holy Quran by class X student Faysal Mahmud. Professor Md. Ismail Topader, Principal of the academy presided over the program while Sr. faculty member Makhan Chandra Biswas acted as the anchor. In his speech Professor Ismail paid homage to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and recalled with due respects his life-long struggle to give the children of his country a happy and prosperous future. Vice Principal Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Coordinator Ibrahim Ali Molla, faculty member Syed Pervez Kaiser, and class X student Romman Ahammed were spoke at the ceremony.

The program followed by a milad and doa mahfil seeking eternal peace of departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Islam & Moral Education Teacher Mosharuf Hossain conducted Munajat after the milad-mahfil.
